April’s Card of the Month cards are completed!
The classes are on Sunday April 28th from 1:30-4pm OR Monday April 29th 6:30-9pm. (Please note that the kits will be ready for pick up as of Sunday.)

Stacey’s Card of the Month April
Another series of my own Card of the Month is starting up again this month! April, May and June are the months for this series.
For April, there are a few extra spaces/kits. I have just started designing the cards for the kit that will be available at the end of this month. I thought that I would take some pictures to show you what the individual pattern papers look like as well as how much is left over in the paper pad! The paper pad featured this month is:
Blank Canvas: a 64 sheet 6X6 paper pad!
Just thought that I would share an interesting note: I design 10 cards per Card of the Month kit….and only ever use 1 sheet of each of the pattern papers in the paper pad. Since there are 4 sheets of EACH pattern paper in this month’s paper pad, that would mean that is a potential to make 40 cards in total (you would only need to get a few extra sheets of cardstock and extra embellishments that I decide to use – or ad lib with your own embellishments! ) I’d say that is quite a bonus to my kits!
Please note that I have only pictured the paper pad, card bases that I have cut from the 12X12 cardstock sheets that you will receive in the kit as well as the stamp set that is included in this month’s kit. Full kit products will be determined after the cards are all designed. The bottom right picture shows the extra paper that is leftover in the paper pad…TONS (approx 48 sheets extra)!

Card of the Month – January kit
Well, it’s time to start up the Card of the Month program again. This is my 5th series for running my own card of the month program. If you would like to join this series, there are still kits available!
January’s theme is around Love and Romance. But by changing the words, you could make some of the cards relevant for Birthday, Thanks, Anniversary, and others. As I continued completing the cards, I kept adding in extra little embellishments here and there (brads, different ribbons, die cuts, flourish punched borders, etc). On one of the cards you will learn how to take a grosgrain ribbon and change it’s appearance all together! A list of additional supplies for January’s kit are listed at the end of this e-mail.
I am including a list of dates of the classes for this Series.

Card of Month kit program designed by Stacey
Series #4 of Stacey’s Card of the Month kit program starts this weekend!
This program runs for 3 months. Therefore, Series #4 is September, October & November. Cost is $25.00 + tax per month/per kit. If there are extra kits, and you are not registered for the Series, indiviual kits may be purchased for $29.00 + tax if available. A limited amount of kits are available each month.
It seems like it has been forever since doing my COTM kits but I only took 1 month off of this program. Glad to get it started again.

***ALL kits include step-by-step instruction from cutting out card bases and Pattern papers to adhering the cards together. The guess work is done for you! Full-colour pictures of each card, as well as 10 coordinating envelopes.****
September’s COTM kit features Dovecraft’s “Tea Party” collection. It is a brighter collection of cards than I have done in the past. Good for inviting someone to tea/coffee, birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc. The Sept kit includes 5 sheets of cardstock, 6X6 paper pad (72 sheets! = 6 sheets of 12 different designs), a package of bling, a package of 60 buttons, a package of twine (3 different rolls with 10m each for a total of 30meters!….LOTS left over), and a diecut of a tea pot & saucer and tea bag.
COTM Sept 2012 – cards
There are 2 options when registering for my COTM kit program:
1. You can pick up your kit and complete the cards at home, or
2. You can attend a class (2 different class date options: Sunday Sept 23rd afternoon class (1:30-4pm) or the Monday Sept 24th evening class (6:30pm-9pm).
Here’s what you will need to bring if you have them for the Sept kit:
- paper trimmer
- fine tipped scissors
- adhesive of choice
- scoring tool & bone folder
- Strong tape adhesive (Sookwang) (TONS in stock!)
- wet adhesive (ie: Tombow Mono Multi or Scotch Quick dry….I have some in stock, but please let me know if you want them put aside)
- corner rounder punch (I only have 1 corner rounder punch in stock)
- border punch (I actually have one or 2 in stock)
- 3/4″ & 1″ circle punches (I have only one 1″ circle punch left in stock)
- small oval punch
- glossy accents (for adhering buttons)…(I have some in stock, but please let me know if you want them put aside)
- Dye-based ink pads in Yellow, Pink, Green and Purple (I used Tim Holtz distress inks in Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick, Shabby Shutters and Dusty Concord)
- Sponges for inking…..(LOTS of these in stock!)
October’s COTM kit features Prima Marketing’s Nature Garden collection. The kit includes 5 sheets of cardstock, 6X6 paper pad, package of self-adhesive chipboard which is from the Nature Garden collection, a bottle of stickles glitter glue….and anything else that I end up using as I create the cards!.
